As Carol’s kids grew older, she started running regularly with a group of local women.“One day we were running, having a deep discussion, and I realized how easy it was to talk about things,” Carol recalls. “Sometimes it’s easier to talk when you’re not looking face to face, but doing something focused, like running on a trail.”
As Carol turned to her running friends and said, “More women need this!” she realized what her next mission would be.

In 2014 and 2015 Fit School Women traveled to Austin, TX and to the Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon & Marathon. Having a common goal helped us have a common purpose, connection, accountability, and a lot of fun.

Coach Carol Frazey is the author of The Fit School Diet Plan:1 Year to a Nutritionally and Physically Fit Life e-book and co-author of 26.2 Life Lessons: Helping You Keep Pace with the Marathon of Life. She earned an M.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado while working with athletes who would go on to become Olympians. As an undergraduate at Pennsylvania State University, Carol was a member of both the cross country and track and field teams. Her mission is to educate and motivate individuals to make small changes each day to live healthier lives… and to have fun while doing it!
